Hi Jim. I haven't seen much on CCs here but have run across a bit of talk about them on P-9. Did some searching over there but only found a few mentions. Seemed the consensus was they are a bit rough on your rotors and will squeak but are an effective pad for a stock car.

I used Ferodo as my street & track pads on my CSS for Laguna, KS Spdwy, a cpl DEs & Fast Fri at RPM, and finally wore them out at COTA. But COTA will pretty much wear out any pad short of an orange Pagid. I went to stock pads for street and bought a set of Stop Techs on the recommendation of an avid DEer on P-9 & QuattroWorld. My first event with the Stop Techs was KS Spdwy last fall, but the event got cancelled after 3 runs due to a bonehead move by NASA. So I don't know if the Stop Techs are better or not as I was building my speed up with ea session.

I've noticed std 20 min sessions do not cause my brakes to fade but when you get the occasional 30 min session, the extra 10 min will make them fade. I try to resist the temptation of extra track time by telling myself I need to drive home when the day is done.

Are you doing spring fling at RPM? 4 of us got signed up for COTA in May. REALLY looking forward to that event.
