So, let me give you a hypothetical situation:

Say you spent a lot of time looking for just the right Boxster. Say you just found it. Then, say your wife took it to a family birthday party to show it off...without you. Say your idiot brother-in-law was performing some still-to-be-determined activity with the top, which caused the top mechanism to break and the hard boot to become stuck in the up position. Then say, hypothetically of course, that in an attempt to avoid a potentially life-altering beating, said idiot brother-in-law attempted to force that boot down by pushing it, hanging on it, whatever, until it, and its hinges, bent and several large dimples appeared where the outer skin comes in contact with the under-structure. Then, say your wife drove it home that way and the plastic trim pieces on either side of the boot blew off on the highway, never to be seen or heard from again.

You guys are saying that would bother you in some way???
