Finally ran out of excuses...

I've wanted a Porsche since I was 17, and finally ran out of "reasons" to say no. My Dad was 78 when he bought his first Porsche, so I guess it runs in the family.

Anyway, I ended up with this beauty:

It's a 2006. and had 9445 miles on it, was mechanically and cosmetically perfect, maybe beyond perfect, and I couldn't say no. The seller had 5 other cars, and just never drove it. It was in Sacramento, about 460 miles from here. I drove back on Hwy 49, a twisty two lane through the gold country. I have some pictures of that, but they are too big to post, and have to be Photo Shopped first.

So that was October, and I have put just over 3000 miles on it since. We have been autocrossing already and will do more of that next year. The unexpected part is that my wife loves it as much as I do, and frequently suggests going for a drive, something that never happened before.

New topic: How come the Spell Check complains about "Boxster"? Doesn't it know where we are?
