I really like the 981 Spyder, But I wouldn't kick that one out of bed.... even though I agree the A/C (and the PDK) is a bit of a copout when you consider what the mission of this model is.
I'll probably get called out on this, but as fantastic as the 981 is, it looks a bit too..........
Nissan like for me to be entirely smitten with the looks compared to the 987. At least from afar. That said, I love the 918 steering wheel and the much simpler-to-operate top on the 981 Spyder compared to the 987 version. On either, the super low profile.... um,
profile and flying buttresses really knock me out. It just feels like a more pure interpretation of what the Boxster should really be.
