Water pump and thermostat changed and system flushed

Got new bolts for the water pump after torquing off the head on one of the old ones.

Ended up going with cap head bolts and washers. Makes it really easy to bolt it all back up and torque. Those of you that have changed the WP, know about the 1 PITA bolt and with hex drive cap heads, its really easy, just us a short wobble extension hex drive socket

So after I got it all buttoned up, decided to flush the system and then refill with coolant.

Using a borrowed airlift, filled a bucket with 5 gal distilled water. refilled the system, but it only too about 3.5 gallons and I had drained around 5. Ran the car for a bit until the thermostat opened and had the heater on. the water level in the coolant tank did not drop at all

Once it cools down, I will drain the water and see how much I get out and then refill with coolant mix
