If you're truly good at this stuff go right ahead, but there is ZERO reason to badmouth dealers. In the long run, you can't operate any car without one and to think otherwise is delusional.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not badmouthing my dealer at all. Brumos has been great to me all around. I generally get my filter and wipers there, as the prices are good and I get a chance to ogle the showroom displays from their museum.
Personally I don't see the benefit in $330 for an oil change and inspection when I can pocket the remainder after oil/filter/crush ring and get some garage therapy in the process.
