So today I brought home another Boxster to add to the fleet.

I was up this morning at 3am to be on a 5:05 flight to San Antonio. I landed in San Antonio at 9:05, and 430 miles later it was sitting in my driveway. It never missed a beat. It rides quiet and tight, engine and brakes are strong, and going through Dallas with the outside temp gauge showing 100', I had to turn down the A/C because it was getting cold in the car!
It's a 1999, 5-speed, with a factory Aerokit, hardtop, soft look leather seats (also power seats) and traction control. It also has the Porsche Navigation System, which while pretty cool 16 years ago, is pretty worthless today. However, it does have all the computer functions for trip distance, fuel remaining, outside temp, etc, along w/ a 6-disc CD system, so I have no complaints.
The car is Ocean Blue Metallic with a black soft top and a Savannah Beige interior. It turned 73,000 miles on my trip home. Previous owners upgraded to 18" wheels and later clear headlights, corners and tail lights.
I have a little bit of cosmetics and maintenance to do, and it will be as close to perfect as a 16 year-old car can be. I'm pretty happy with it!
The bottom picture is the new car along with my other '99 Aerokit car.
