The best advice I could give you was what was given to me by a Porsche dealer. If you get the smaller motor you should get the manual. If you get the bigger motor then you can live with either. This was based on making the most of the limited power of the 2.7. Hope this helps.

how can I identify if the IMS issue is fixed on both cars? what are the MAF sensors?
Does the Autel Maxidiag Elite MD702 diagnositc scanner helps on those??
