mach schnell, I have an 06 987 and it looks like the passenger seat is equipped with a weight sensing system that automatically deactivates the airbags. I was wondering if I could just have the LATCH brackets retrofitted and get a Britax seat. As long as the airbag off indicator lamp lights, then I assume it will be safe. Does this make sense and should I trust it. I notice I can have a key deactivation device installed if necessary.
Also, is it safe for kids in the front seat of any Boxster? Comparable to rear center seat positioning? I'm dying to get my 2 year old in this car!
