Mine lost about a cup a month or less. I think it's a real small leak or not leaking at all... could be something as simple as an old radiator cap that caused evaporation... which I am also replacing just for good measure.
I'll find out tonight or tomorrow if the tank had a leak or not, or if it was one of the hoses, a clamp, etc. Since it was a bunch of labor to inspect the tank for leaks, I decided just to go ahead and replace it and have the peace of mind that comes with a new tank.
