Nice work! I'm glad to see that some are following my insanity
The remaining orange tint is either the inner gold shroud, an amber bulb or a fine layer of amber plastic left over.
If you don't want to disassemble to paint the gold shroud black, some
very light tint spray (or film?) carefully applied to the turn signal only would help match them up to the corner trims and lose that remaining orange tinge.
