I have an Escort Solo S3. I love it mainly because it's cordless, and I can easily put it on the dash (I just use one of those sticky gel pads) and swap it from the Box to the 'Treg. It rarely gets any false alarms other than toll booths or construction areas.
I primarily only use it on road trips, or when I'm out of town and don't know the area.
It just saved me yesterday on Rt 95 on my way down to DC.
