It wasn't the slave so they pulled the trans and found the notorious broken clutch fork (and a nice bald clutch with a flywheel that had more burns than Freddy Kruger's face...so thats why it shuttered so much).
For the new clutch fork, is there a revised part (similar to the coolant cap nonsense)? Is my new clutch and fork combo gonna crap out in a few thousand miles? Do they crack because of old age? (~96k on the original clutch/fork).

the clutch fork was revised to a new design.
so the new part should be better.
but hay, you did 96K on the "bad" design, so i don't think you will need to worry.
