The Porsche engineers do not refer to the Boxster "spoiler" as a "spoiler" they call it an air dam. The design, with the wide piece of metal attached to the part we call a spoiler, is to channel a large volume of air that keeps the rear end stable at high speeds. They also do not recommend removing the metal dam as it changes the dynamic of air flow at higher speeds.
The Boxster design, especially the rear, is so clean I can't imagine bolting one of those hideous things to it and possibly changing the handling.
