Looks like a classic case of someone not knowing the car and quite probably the road as well, and getting in over their head.
Here is more explanation of where it happened. It looks like they went too fast over the crest of a hill, got into a bit of a "tank slapper" trying to slow down, dropped a wheel off the pavement, tried to bring it back on too quickly and lost control. I bet it gets repaired.
A car dealer friend of mine told me that you would be surprised at how often cars get crashed on test drives, or the first day of ownership as people try to explore the performance of the car.
