If you have the kit installed all you need is the buckle insert that goes into the buckle, not actually the seat itself, as the seat itself that fits within it is an infant seat, not a child seat. The child seats come with this buckle, I believe, or you can buy it separately, but I can't remember where.

I have the 987 (997) airbag deactivation kit in my Boxster S - it's a bear to put in, and cost me quite a bit because mine is a 2005 and the 2005 version doesn't have some of the electronics pre-installed as the 2006 has.
