Yes, you will need your radio code if you disconnect the battery to reset the ECU.

Be aware that the car might initially run like crap after the ECU reset (and you'll wonder: WTF did I just do?). Just drive it normally and it will sort itself out over 40-50 miles of regular driving (along a few cold starts).

After that, if it still runs like it has permanent turbo lag, then let us know and someone will suggest the next course of action.
