This is why I put in a temp gauge and a oil pressure gauge.

I already have a small deep sump and oil baffle.

I'm convinced keeping the oil cool is a big part of the battle. I do run Amsoil racing oil now. Not cheap, but holds up well in our ChumpCar
which gets totally abused. 24 hour races in 105 degree temps. But I have to believe the external oil cooler is a big help too.

I'm trying to decide if I add an external oil cooler to the Boxster -- and if I do, how and where.

I think it might become my Xmas present to myself (mostly because I will have time to install it and there are no events at that time of the year).
