My factory speakers were in perfect condition, so I figured I would keep them intact in case I ever wanted to go back to factory , or if someone needed a set I would sell them

Had they been trashed, I would have used them as the new speaker mount.

I had looked for some pre-made adapters, but the links I found were all dead. So what you can't buy, you have to make
