I am making every attempt to avoid cutting into the harness, in my opinion it destroys the value of a car. when I see someone has done something to the electrical system on a car, the price I am willing to offer is instantly $2,000 lower, unless I can be convinced it was done extremely well. there are too many kids who will wire in a stereo to any hot lead and end up burning up a harness in a heartbeat (experience talking). waaaay back, I was that kid and ended up rebuilding a wiring harness on my 80 mercury capri turbo rs.
