Haha! That is probably crazy bright @ 50watts. Way too bright for my needs and I was referring to/looking for tube/strip lighting.

The Cree LEDs in the small projectors that I'm using are 1 watt each (330 mA @ 3 V) and are more than bright enough for DRLs, though I probably won't use them as such.
