I couldn't fit my regular O2 socket in the tight spot so I used this one and it worked like a champ:

rather than the purchase of all these o2 sensor wrenches and sockets, I have found the use of a 7/8" open end wrench works fine. the actual size of the sensor is a 22mm, but those wrenches are a bit of a pain to find. the sensors on a boxy are ridiculously simple to remove.
