I like the features and it is not stupid expensive as well. The bluetooth a a big thing for me and its nice to know it works well even wit the top down as I live in San Diego and probably 90% of the time I'm top down. Where did you mount the microphone?
Based on your evaluation and other stuff I have read, I think I will be getting one soon.
Just need to find the correct harness so I don't have to cust the factory connectors off. In my searches, it looks like the Audo/VW/Scoda harness/adapters will work
Thanks again

originally I clipped onto the sun visor. when I got the sunscreen for the windshield I moved it trim on the left side of the windshield so it didn't get knocked off every time I put the sunscreen in. seems to work just as well there. the only time I have issues with phone calls is when my wife is using her factory Mercedes BT.
the Parrot has a cool double mic, guessing they are doing some noise canceling as well, but not sure. Parrot made their bones in Bluetooth and are widely considered to be the best. Also, forgot to mention before, it has a great voice command feature that works really well with phone calls and music search. My wife's name is Davanh (pronounced 'Da-wan'), it finds it no problem using the voice command.
I have a TomTom unit I use in my Pathfinder and have the app on my iPhone and like the interface, but Just so you know, the TomTom app from the Parrot store is $48 and there is not currently live traffic available for it. Waze is free, but you need to have a data connection (best option is using your phone as a hotspot). Waze also has an excellent "user driven" traffic and road hazard system. Cops are apparently considered road hazards and you get alerts for them as well. A state trooper friend of mine was saying how they all hated Waze because it was screwing with their quotas
for the harnesses and mounting kit, look into Euromotorspeed. they have an ebay store. if you tell them the car year/make etc.. the current radio model and what unit you are putting in (parrot asteroid smart) they will hook you up with the right harnesses and and mounting kits. I also got a cubby bin to replace the CD storage bin.
