I do the same. I have very thick hair and shed like dog. Luckily for me it all grows back.

p.s.
I previously wrote of car covers as more trouble than its worth since the car has to be absolutely clean before it goes on otherwise it scratches the paint.
But I know use it if I wash wash the car and know that I won't be driving it for a few days. It's the Porsche OEM Boxster cover.
The fit is perfect. It says Boxster on the back with clear cut out for the rear license plate. You clean with simple green. $200 on Ebay
