There's nothing wrong with that car that some money can't fix when and if it's needed... budget $2k a year in repairs and maintenance and tires and you'll be fine. some years it will only be oil changes and other years it will be a lot more stuff, but $2k on average is what you'll probably end up spending the first 2-3 years, even though a bunch of things have been fixed on the car. (These cars have suspension parts that wear out far faster than any other brand you've owned.)

$12k... not bad for a nice S that's been cared for. You should go for it.

Be sure to get a thorough PPI on the car. Ask the tech to look for suspension ball joint wear and especially wheel bearing problems... 93k and 13 years on the car means they're ready to be replaced if they haven't been replaced yet.

If it needs these things, get an estimate and take it off his $12k asking price.
