Could the reason be because the similar mentality of getting the most for your money? With a used boxster you get Porsche handling, good power, and classy styling for a low price. I can't think of another car that delivers what I get in my boxster for the price I paid. Same reason why I bought my mustang, it went 0-60 in 5 seconds flat and costed 13k.
