yeah, the stiffer metal ones have more "push through" in the tight spots. I had to keep poking at it until it finally found a route. seemed like once it "popped the cherry" it made it to the back no problem. came out in the opening beside the lights. had to reach in to get it out in the open. looped the wires, wrapped them well in electrical tape to keep the RCA head from snagging on anything. pulling back through was cake.
