How should one go about trying to get this done for free? I need to have mine evaluated due to the airbag light being on and repaired. I would love to have it done for free. I was told that the dealers like to replace both sides (driver and passenger) at the time of repair. My estimation is that parts would be approx. $170-$200 depending on the dealer. And I imagine 2hours of labor. So it seems this could save me around $300 or more. I guess I will start by calling the nearestest dealer(60miles). And try to negotiate the situation w/ the service mgr. I'll call tommorow and see how it goes. I'll post his response.
