My first was a 1953 Porsche America Coupe. I was the second owner when I bought it in 1974 for $1000.00.
I traded it in on a brand new 924 in November, 1976. The car had a few more owners before being stored in a barn for 26 years. It was then rescued and brought back to an original operating state, with only 55,000 miles on the clock.
I was fortunate to locate and contact the latest owner this year just after he sold it..........at a handsome profit, I might add.
