Hi Everyone,
Yesterday, I finally installed a 6x40W 996 amplifier to power my rear speakers, and replace my 4x40W amp. The output should be the same, but I now have to turn the volume on the Becker CDR220 radio up more than before to achieve the same volume.
I used to set it anywhere between 8-14, now I am in the 20-26 range. Could there be an issue with the amp, or a setting I need to adjust? I like the lower numbers because the speakers are less likely to making that popping sound at ignition/shutdown and it minimizes any ground loop buzzing.
Also, curious what volume level everyone else is normally around?
