Yeah, I had the same feeling the first time I went to PofA. I didn't even go inside -- just pulled out and drove away. Once you meet other Porsche owners, though, you'll feel much more at home, even in the Porsche dealership.
Take your car to Jim's Fine Auto Service and get Mickey to hook it up to the computer and see what it's doing.
Spend the $49 and join the PCA. And if you can get away for an early lunch, a bunch of the hard core local PCA members have lunch from 11:20-12:20 every Wednesday at the Owl Cafe. They're a great bunch, very welcoming and very experienced.
