Keep us posted on what you find on the issue. I have the same poor gas mileage problem on my 2001. Changed the air filter, fuel filter, and new sparkplugs. Have not cleaned the MAF yet, but that will be my next step.

But finding the economy issue is my next quest. Not sure if these MAF sensors can be cleaned. But till I find out I'm not taking any action.
