Gas Mileage

Darkstar
Keep us posted on what you find on the issue. I have the same poor gas mileage problem on my 2001. Changed the air filter, fuel filter, and new sparkplugs. Have not cleaned the MAF yet, but that will be my next step.

I'm unsure what the P1 had in mind but I'm currently fixing his wire disaster for the amp and sub wires. I used to own Southwest Speed and I've never seen a nice car come in with such a disaster of an install done. And whoever did, bypassed the amp fuse with a cover wire... I'm sure grease got sacked in. There was oil on top of the block. Not sure where from but one of my days off I need to rip the intake off and find the source and clean it all off. But finding the economy issue is my next quest. Not sure if these MAF sensors can be cleaned. But till I find out I'm not taking any action.
