All is well!

Ahh, what a day.

By 9AM I had been to the dump in the Ranger at 7AM sharp, lost my keys under a MOUNTAIN of yard debris, then 2 hours later get to the shop.

Then 2 different helpers cancel for taking out this huge steam boiler. They are cast iron. Then my wife calls. Any word on another bid on that $17k roof for the 4-plex? ( I am owed about about $12k that is 30 days at the moment) and as I pack up the sledge to use on the steam boiler, I pass my baby.

Smooth, shiny, new paint, new lits, innocent. And it dawns on me, with 3 good swings of this hammer I could be in far worse pain. I imagined where I would need to hit it to do the worst damage. It felt strange.

I love that car. I think it's about perfect. I have a very nice firearms collection that took years to put together, but that car is by far more exhilarating. Maybe that's the reason behind the thought. It's a material thing. Who knows. Either way, it's safe and very well taken care of and driven well.

Funny thing is, that very sledge has been swung at and struck that car at least four times, with some decent force. I kid you not!
