Best of luck. I hope it works out well for you.

The oil changes have washed out the loose metal fragments, but there are two things you still don't know. One: did the metal fragment score any of the vital engine parts (cylinder walls, bearings, etc.) before they were washed out in the oil flushes during the IMS repair? Two: have any of the metal fragment lodged in any of the lubrication channels that will lead to faster wear than normal? Hopefully, the answer to both questions is no.
