Good news on your IMS replacement, and the post change oil filter pics look great. I am inclined to agree with the mechanic that they will all fail at some point, the only thing is when - 10 or 250,000? It appears Porsche took three cracks at the design, and finally gave up with the 2009 changes. However, in the world of automotive manufacturers, they almost never admit to a mistake. That could lead to lawsuits (of course, this one did!)
