Any photo of it installed? I'm not sure if it was a good idea to paint that horizontal bar at the radiator intakes or leave it black. I think it looks better if the bar is black to make the hole appears large and aggressive looking.

It shouldn't cost $1200. From my experience it will cost about $500, here's the break down:

-material (paint, primer, thinner, etc...) is under $200. Any top of the line product (from PPG, ANobel, HoC, etc...)
-labor is about 2hr prep sand body fill + 1hr prime + 1hr paint @$40-50/hr
-equipment fee would be about $200... just a guess.

I'm a part time bodyman and painter. Painting like that is cake walk! There's no masking or anything except few holes!
