The 944 I went to see was nice milage wise (only 40K), but needed a LOT of interior work. Exterior was resprayed, but looked it (too much overspray). And the clutch was the original clutch with rubber insert. Was way to weird to drive. My wife & daughter would never have manged it and I want something better for all of us. Going to look at a Merceded 230SLK tomorrow. Maybe another 944 too.

I told my wife if I can get a car I am happy with, I might sell my Boxster. That freaked her ouas she really likes the Boxster. But I clmed her down when I told her I'd only do that to buy a Boxster S or Caymen S. Both mid-engine cars. Of course, she prefers the Boxster style over the Caymen and really doesn't like the 911. She doesn't like the rear view.
