Congrats in your new purchase. I too went through the dilemma between the lotus Elise and the boxster, but after driving, it was a no brainer for daily use.

I have the Denison adapter hooked to my porsche radio... Works great and you might be able to find them cheap, now that apple is switiching plugs. Works with my daughters iPod.. but not the iPhone 5.
