anyone who would confuse a new Porsche for
any Ferrari is clearly not a car person.
The other thing I've noticed about non-enthusiasts is that they don't distinguish between Porsches. For instance I've gotten dozens of comments on my car when I'm out and about, no one ever refers to it by saying "Nice Boxster". It's always "Nice Porsche" or "say is that your Porsche outside?", "is your Porsche expensive to keep up?", etc. The only people who seem to see it on a model level are other Porsche people, or folks who drive M3's, Corvettes, Mustangs, STI's etc. -- another equally small group.
then there's the flipside, I was in a diner once and a guy asked wich guy left the tailights turn on in their MR2 Spyder?
