Depends on what you want and how OCD you happen to be. There are several levels:

1. Random - Just throw the tools randomly in a drawer and hope you can find it when you need it. You'll probably need Google to help you search but at least the tools are off the workbench.

2. Drawer Sort - Put similar tools in a drawer. For example, all open end wrenches in drawer #1, socket sets in drawer #2, pliers and hand tools in drawer #3, etc. This is probably the most common approach.

3. Drawer Organizers - use drawer organizers (bins, dividers, etc) to make it easier to find what you're looking for.



4. Shadow Box - Each tool has its own "home". You know exactly where a tools goes and you can see immediately if it is there. This is the most efficient but also takes the most space.
