I have done this drive many times but it is never enough. 1st time was in a rental box ( tried to upgrade to something sportier but I was only going 1 way) Did the drive with a Ford dually & car trailer. In 1994 bought a new Mustang GT conv& drove it to SanFran & back on Hwy1, bought my Boxster in 2003 in Portland drove down the coast to SoCA in 4 days, best trip ever. Or maybe the time I did it in a GT2?
Anyway to answer your question, C5 conv can be more thrilling but a Boxster is funner!
