Kudos for working on your own car and training the wife to have some Situational Awareness and reporting the odd observations instead of just driving off regardless.

She is a gem and we can overlook her taking the boy toy for a ride, without you to chaperone.

My Boxster is spouse proof fortunately as shifting gears and all 6 to boot is far too much effort for my girl.

I wanted to teach her to drive standard on the Wrangler but in retrospect that is probably not a great idea for a lot of reasons.
