Same issue when I purchased mine.
I did recently reach out the the previous owner and asked if they ever found the second key. Which they did, so I left their license plate frame in turn for the 2nd key.. (Alumni frame)
Of course the remote electronics don't work, but hey I have a second key..
Not ready to take the $300 plunge to have is fixed..
