Slow and steady does it! Like I said above, the lettering comes already nicely laid out on its backing, with the nice gentle curve that you see in my pic, so I just used a sharp x-acto knife to carefully cut the letters out and used the remaining backing as a template. Made things pretty easy. Aside from removing the old badge and glue, the new badge only took about an hour to install.

Just dont remove the backing fom the letters until you are sure that the placement is correct! That adhesive is very strong! You can also use a wax pencil or washable marker to help with placement reference marks before final application.
