5 years of drooling, 2 years of planning....... and finally, Little "Red" is now sitting in my garage. 2000 std, 5 spd mnl with some trimmings (silver dash dials, silver painted roll bars), with 35k on it.... and its MINE (oh... and my wifes)!!

A hiccup to begin with - needed to get the MAS replaced - thankfully under sales warranty ($600!) - the check light had been reset prior to sale, and drive sequences had not been completed when inspected (a good clue...), so I had it written into the sales contract that if CEL came on in first 1000 miles, they would take care of it - sure nuff.... it happened after 30 miles of driving!! (note to new buyers - have the codes pulled prior to purchase!!).

So I look forward to sharing great stories, frustrations and learnings about our favourite german friend!!
