I actually bought a buffer from AutoZone, came with a yellow pad. I need to go buy some Mquires Swirl Remover compound. The buffer came with two yellow pads. The first time, after a nice wash, I just waxed the car. It took care of some of the thinner swirls, but still in direct sunlight, there are lots of swirls. So I think I need to treat the swirls first, then shine her up.
