Over the last 7 years of ownership my typical mileage looks like this:
Open highway- 30mpg
Average mixed driving- 22mpg
Track days- 12 mpg
Yes the right foot has everything to do with mileage assuming the car is properly tuned and in good working order. A heavy set of aftermarket wheels can adversely affect the mileage a lot also.
