I am located in the midwest (Columbus OH). I went to 3 shops and got 3 estimates that very far apart. $900, $2,000, and $600. I was told by some in the forum that it should cost around $300.
So, for those of you have done this before, what did it cost you? How was the outcome?
Thank you.

Assuming that there is no real damage to be fixed, a high quality job should fall between $800-$1000 . Unless you come across a shop that's in dire need of work (that should be a red flag in and of itself), I can't imagine anyone willing to do an excellent job for less . It really comes down to how much of a perfectionist you are . But, $2000 seems way out of line .
