well three things based on my experience with dark colored cars and MF.

1. don't use MF with split fibers, the prickly ones. You know by running your hand across it. This is intented for cleaning not buffing. There is no way those prickly ends aren't marring your paint. look for a towel wih a looped end if you are working with paint.

2. Make sure the MF is absolutely clean. Thse towels are very good at trapping dirt and debris but its also stubborn at letting it go. I've washed some towels several times and could still see debris in there.

3. Make sure its Korean made. Don't rub Chinese MF on your Porsche. They use cheap threading machines meaning its not the best you can get and its still expensive.


and of course the less you touch the paint the less it swirls.
