Mobil 0-40 may be the factory fill but many, including some experts familiar with the Boxsters engine issues, are quiet vocal about disagreeing that this brand provides the best protection. I use the Castrol synthetic, Autozone usually has a 5 quart deal for about $27 where they toss in a free filter which is at least a $12 value. I try to change the oil every 7 months so I look for deals on oil.
